We are looking to expand our team and are seeking expressions of interest for the role of
Logistics and Warehouse Assistant
.
This is not an immediate opening but an opportunity to connect with potential candidates interested in joining our team in the future.
About the Role:
As a Logistics and Warehouse Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our logistics and warehouse operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Maintaining accurate records of shipments and inventory.
Organising transportation routes and ensuring timely delivery of products.
Preparing shipping documents, bills of lading, and invoices.
Working with vendors and logistics providers to ensure cost-effective transportation.
Tracking and monitoring shipments, troubleshooting and resolving any issues.
Lifting and moving inventory, conducting regular stocktakes.
Organising and maintaining the warehouse layout to optimise space and efficiency.
Ensuring the warehouse is clean, organised, and compliant with safety regulations.
Receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming goods, and preparing orders for shipment.
About You:
We are looking for candidates who have:
Essential Skills:
Strong organisational abilities, attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage logistics and warehouse activities efficiently.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems and the ability to lift and move inventory are also required.
Nice to Have:
Previous experience in a similar role, knowledge of inventory management systems, and a proactive attitude.
Personal Traits:
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong problem-solving skills, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Eligibility:
Must have full working rights in Australia.
