**About the role**

TAFE NSW has an exciting temporary part-time opportunity for motivated individuals with current experience in the General Health industry, to collaborate with our experienced Teachers and Head Teachers to carry out student assessments as an Assessor, located at the Strathfield Campus. The role is two days a week and days may be negotiated.

Your role will include assessment strategy implementation, independent assessments, and identifying gaps that may require further teacher support.

**_ Note:_**_ This role does not teach or deliver training._

**To be successful in the role you must have**:

- TAE10 Assessor Skill Set or equivalent.
- Diploma of Nursing or Practice Management or equivalent or higher qualification in Nursing or Allied Health (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy specialisations).
- Commitment to develop VET knowledge and skills as well as maintain industry currency and assessor competence.
- Ability to meet all the Essential Requirements as outlined in the position description.

Considered highly desirable is the Bachelor in Nursing, or Allied Health or Health Care Management.
