We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to join our data migration team. You will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for quality assurance of data migration and data reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance of solutions developed in a data migration team
Plan, Prepare, Execute and Report Quality Assurance using superannuation registry systems and SQL tools
Analyze test requirements, design and prepare manual and automated test scenarios and scripts which provide comprehensive coverage of given requirements
Generate test metrics & ROI to utilize them for process and efficiency improvements
Build complex SQL queries to build automation scripts for data migration and reconciliation requirements
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments
Triage and retest defects raised outside data migration team
Plan and execute go-live data migration testing and reconciliation activities
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimation
Requirements
Experienced Senior Data Migration QA Engineer with solid background in both manual and automated testing
Proven track record of leading complex testing projects
Proficient in tools such as JIRA, Xray, TOSCA, Postman, and SQL
Strong working experience in large scale data migration and reconciliation
Strong understanding of ETL processes, data mapping, and transformation validation
Strong hands-on experience with manual and automated testing and reporting
Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server, data profiling tools, and test automation frameworks
Familiarity with data reconciliation techniques
Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and compliance standards
Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
Experience in the superannuation industry or a similar financial sector to minimize the learning curve and quickly contribute to the team
