**Highlighting the importance of this role**

Lady Small Haven Aged Care is a 65-bed service nestled in beautiful bushland and only 6km from the Gold Coast centre. We currently have an exciting opportunity for Qualified Personal Care Workers to join our team on a Part-time basis, working Night Shift, 22-69 hours per fortnight.

As the Personal Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing direct care to residents and assisting them in daily living activities that meet their individual physical, spiritual, social and cultural needs.

This position will require you to work **Night Shift - 10:00pm - 6:15am.
During your varied day you will:

- Provide personal care and physical and emotional support to residents who require assistance with daily living;
- Participate in the development and review of resident/client care plans; complete charting and report any observed changes to resident health to the Registered Nurse/Enrolled Nurse;
- Maintain the personal dignity and privacy of all residents, their representatives and staff, and ensure that all interaction with residents and their representatives are treated confidentially;
- Support and assist in the provision of a comfortable, safe and secure environment;
- Undertake and complete tasks as delegated by Registered/Enrolled Nurse.

Your experience and qualifications for this role will include:

- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support;
- Willingness to work nights across a 7-day week;
- Aged Care experience will be highly regarded;
- Current National Police check or the ability to obtain.
- Under Churches of Christ policy and/or the applicable public health directions, team members are required to be vaccinated for Covid-19.
