**Job description**

OPPORTUNITIES IN THE HOME AND COMMUNITY CARE INDUSTRY: Casual Care Workers required for Home and Community Care shifts in Aged Care and Disability Care for many areas across South East Melbourne.

We are looking for workers in the below areas (staff must be located local to these areas)
- Frankston/Mornington area
- Chelsea/Aspendale areas
- Brighton/Bentleigh areas
- Lilydale area
- Berwick

Below are the requirements (non-negotiable) for these positions:

- Must have experience in Aged care or Disability care (community care experience will be highly regarded)
- Must hold a Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Disability Care, or Individual Support (must be Australian qualifications, Nursing students who have completed their Aged Care placements will be considered)
- Current manual handling certificate (must be less than 2 years old)
- Current police check (must have been completed within the last 3 months)
- A current driver's license and a comprehensively insured, reliable vehicle
- A current HLTAID003 First Aid certificate
- Current HLTAID001 CPR certificate
- Minimum of two professional references (preferred that both are from this industry, however if not possible at least 1 reference must be from this industry and the second must be an employment reference)

We have several clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and therefore applicants with additional language skills will be highly regarded. We currently have a high need for staff who speak the following languages: Arabic, Bosnian, Cantonese, Croatian, Dari, Farsi, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Mandarin, Maltese, Mauritian Creole, Nepali, Russian, Serbian, Sinhalese, Tamil, Thai, Teochew, Turkish & Vietnamese.

**Salary**: From $32.98 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

- Penalty rates
