You'll be responsible for executing long hole activities that keep our mining operations running smoothly and safely.What You'll Be Doing:Carrying out precise long hole drilling using mechanised equipment, following design specifications with care and accuracy.Interpreting and following mine plans confidently-drilling to line, gradient, and profile with attention to detail.Setting up and troubleshooting long hole Drill rigs to ensure smooth and safe operation.Completing thorough pre-start checks and ensuring all equipment is safe and ready to go.Collaborating with the Shift Boss and previous crew to stay informed and aligned on the work area and daily priorities.About youWe're looking for a proactive and safety-focused individual who's ready to contribute to a high-performing underground crew.You'll ideally have:Residency in the Parkes area-or you're open to relocating to this thriving regional community.At least 12 months of experience in a similar underground role.
Experience operating Epiroc E7 rigs highly regarded.Certification to work at heights and security clearance to handle explosives, or the ability to gain this qualification.A strong commitment to safety-it's how you work, not just a requirement.A current "C" Class Australian Manual Driver's Licence.At Evolution, as our name suggests, change and transformation is in our DNA.
