Tarp Fitter

Our company is looking to employ a full-time person in a new role of tarp fitter with the following attributes:

- Be physically fit and agile
- Be a good TEAM player
- Be organised and able to plan ahead
- Be responsible, honest, neat and tidy
- Show attention to detail
- Be willing and able to follow policies and procedures
- "Working at heights" experience - desirable
- Have a responsible attitude towards Drugs and Alcohol and workplace safety
- Hold a current driver's license
- Current Forklift License preferrable but not essential

Reporting directly to the business owner, you will be responsible for:

- Installing tarps, perform repairs as required
- Planning for upcoming jobs, preparing the items needed
- Maintaining stock levels and purchasing
- Keeping tools & machinery in working order
- Keeping the storeroom tidy
- General tasks as required

On-site training will be provided; however, some knowledge of power tools would be handy.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person
