We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Design Manager to lead our engineering design function.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in leading multidisciplinary teams, managing projects and driving business growth.
A strong track record of delivering high-quality engineering solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
10-15 years proven engineering application experience, ideally in steel fabrication or heavy industrial sectors.
Advanced CAD skills - Solid Edge experience highly regarded.
Minimum 5 years demonstrated leadership and team management experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor and develop a team of Engineers, Draftsmen and Manufacturing Specialists.
Oversee the design, development and delivery of high-quality engineering projects.
Ensure all engineering activities meet relevant Australian and International standards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across design and manufacturing processes.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Sales and Quality teams to align design outcomes with business goals.
Manage resources, workflows and project priorities to achieve delivery targets.
