**SUPERVISOR**

**You will be trusted to**:

- Monitor part of a project to ensure your section or package of work is delivered on time and budget, within quality standards
- Liaise with subcontractor supervisors on works in progress
- Manage works in accordance with the Project Management Plan
- Have a strong focus on personal and team safety through our "Safety is My Way" initiative
- Ensure your team is fully skilled and has the required resources to meet productivity targets
- Drive productivity and manage the performance of your team and subcontractor
- Lead and coordinate, labour, plant, materials and subcontractors daily
- Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders including Senior Management, Clients and Government Authorities
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members
- Conduct and participate in site meetings (toolboxes, pre-start, inductions and other health and safety requirements)

**What you're good at**:

- Previous experience in a civil construction supervisory position
- Project Supervision: Proven ability to oversee, underground services, pavement construction, and bulk earthworks
- Crew & Contractor Management: Strong leadership in coordinating diverse construction teams, including labourers, drainers, road builders, and utility contractors. Experience in selecting and managing subcontractors.
- Infrastructure & Services: In-depth knowledge of stormwater management, sewer and water systems, roadworks, and retaining walls.
- Utility Works: Expertise in managing earthworks crews and overseeing the installation/removal of utilities (water, sewer, electricity, and telecommunications).
- Brownfields & High-Risk Environments: Hands-on experience managing construction in operational settings such as airports, transport hubs, or urban redevelopment projects, is preferred.
- Strong ability to monitor a section of work and co-ordinate resources to deliver on time and budget, while upholding a high-quality standard
- An engaging and driven leader with experience in driving a high standard of work and safety
- Previous experience of managing a large work crew
- Be able to show competence in planning projects and recording progress
- Strong IT and communication skills
- Excellent safety record
