Food insecurity is a growing problem, requiring a huge, coordinated response; Foodbank NSW & ACT are on hand to fight hunger.

1 in 6 Australian adults haven't had enough to eat in the last year. On top of this, 1.2 million children have gone hungry during the same period.

Each month they provide 339,200 people across our state and territory with food and grocery assistance. They bridge the gap between the food and grocery industry's surplus items and those going without food. **Role Summary**:
Reporting to the Community Fundraising Manager, this role is primarily responsible for event planning. In this role you will perform tasks such as finding and booking venues, liaising with clients and suppliers, handling logistics, managing budgets and invoicing, organising authorisation, managing risks, and presenting post-event reporting.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- You will be a main point of contact for all enquires related to community fundraising and event activities whilst for internal and external stakeholders
- Support and coordinate events with the Community Fundraising Manager, for both internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate, develop and implement fundraising campaigns to increase community awareness and activity such as registrations, sponsorship and communications and marketing of the event
- Working with the marketing teams, create content for materials and communications related to fundraising events
- Manage fundraising software, maintain database and website to ensure information related to fundraising is accurate and up to date

**Essential criteria**:

- You will have events experience and a high level of skill related to event management OR evidence of coordination & support on engagement events
- Ability to manage timelines, project management and logistics
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal
- Display resourcefulness, strong analytical and problems solving skills
- Highly organised and proactive attitude whilst a passion for the mission and team collaboration
