**Casual Dental Assistant / Nurse**
- **The Role**:_ Casual position - must be able to work on Wednesday & Thursday

Exciting opportunity for a caring and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our growing team. We are a busy cosmetic and general dental clinic with the vision to not only create and preserve smiles, but to leave a long lasting experience for our patients that will turn our professional relationships into a lifetime of friendships.

**Responsibilities**:

- Dental Assisting
- Patient Records maintenance
- Patient care and management
- Charting
- Assist in Reception and front of house duties
- Follow-up with patients and arranging appointments
- High standards of infection control
- Sterilization implementation
- Ability to multitask
- Setting up X-RAYS

**Minimum Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Desire to deliver exceptional service
- Immaculately well-presented and energetic
- Strong sense of self-accountability
- Hygiene awareness and good presentation
- Excellent patient communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail

**Duties**:

- Providing chair-side assistance (e.g. handing equipment to dentists, spraying and suction)
- Taking records, impressions, or x-rays
- Assisting with administrative tasks as needed (e.g. billing, maintaining patient records)
- Routinely maintaining and sterilising equipment
- Assisting with front office tasks as needed (e.g. reception)

**Salary**: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Rotating roster
