Senior Software Engineer - Product / Open SystemsApply locations: AUS SYDNType: Full time | Posted on: Posted Today | Job Requisition ID: JR0299134About the role:As a Software Engineer, you could work with bleeding-edge technology to build innovative fintech products that change how the world pays, banks, and invests.
This involves developing core software applications, identifying client requirements and technical specifications, interacting with engineering teams, and training clients on applications.What you will be doing:Designing, programming, debugging, and modifying software enhancements.Interacting with product managers and users to define requirements and modifications.Participating in software design meetings to determine technical requirements.Collaborating with internal Client Training, Client Relationship, and Sales teams.What you will need:Technologies: C++, Unix/Linux, Scripting (Python/Perl), Oracle/SQL, Java/API.Tools: Tomcat, CrushFtp, Splunk Alert system, Visa's VEP, and MC's MCO.Payment Domain Knowledge is essential – Schemes, Compliance, Acquiring & Issuing.Fluency in sequence diagrams, class models, etc.Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines.Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.Added bonus if you have:Experience with FiS's products – Data Navigator and IST Mas & Clearing.What we offer you:A career at FIS is more than just a job.
