What's the job?
Our Victorian branch is currently on the hunt for an experienced Stainless Steel Installer to play a specialised role in our Installation Team.
What you'll be doing:
On-site installation of our stainless steel componentry
Perform general fabrication using stainless steel, steel, steel tubing including:Selecting, cleaning and preparing metal stock
Setting up and operating fabricating machines to cut, bend, and straighten metal
Operating welding equipment to join metal
Inspecting, assembling and smoothing seams and joints to burred surfaces using hand tools and portable tools
Examining architectural or technical detail stair drawings and specifications to determine job requirements.
Finish products by cleaning, polishing, filing and bathing in acidic solutions.
Clean and smooth welds by filing, welding, chiselling and grinding.
Ensure S&A quality, health and safety processes are followed at all times.
What skills and experience you need:
Qualification in fabrication
Experience in the steel industry (essential)
Construction Induction card (essential)
Australian driver's licence (essential)
