**Workshop Technician (Heavy) | Welshpool**

We're on the lookout for an experienced and qualified **Heavy Technician** to join our **Welshpool Workshop team**.

You'll be part of a national company backed by over 100 years of industry experience and proud partnerships with world-class brands like Cat Lift Trucks, Konecranes and Haulotte.

**About you - ESSENTIAL**
- Trade qualification as an Automotive, Mobile Plant Mechanic or Heavy Diesel Mechanic
- Must have experience working with heavy diesel/large scale equipment
- Solid mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills
- Great communication and customer service skills
- A team player who can also work independently
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude

- _Experience with electrical and hydraulic systems_
- _Background in material handling equipment_

**Perform a range of maintenance servicing on forklifts and access equipment**:

- Performing planned maintenance (PMP) and safety inspections
- Troubleshooting and carrying out repairs
- Overhauls and system diagnostics
- Assembling and commissioning new equipment
- Modifying machines to meet specific customer requirements
