Position: Senior Assistant AccountantLocation: New Farm, BrisbaneAbout UsAt Burger Urge, we're all about reclaiming the burger experience.

We're growing fast – and we want you to grow with us.Responsibilities:Prepare and deliver accurate weekly KPI and performance reportsManage payroll administration on a weekly basisSupport Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functionsReview and correct team errors to ensure financial accuracyComplete statutory lodgements and month-end processes including reconciliations and P&L analysisConduct detailed balance sheet reconciliations and manage intercompany accountsAnalyse purchasing behaviour and KPIs to identify trends, risks, or potential fraudRespond to internal and external stakeholder inquiriesSupport financial benchmarking and analysis of network performanceAssist with additional administrative and financial duties as directed by the Finance Manager and CFORequirements:Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting rolesProficiency in Xero is essentialStrong knowledge of Australian payroll laws; experience with TANDA is highly regardedFamiliarity with both state and federal statutory requirementsAdvanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)Skills & Attributes:Excellent attention to detail and a professional approachSelf-motivated with a proven ability to meet tight deadlinesStrong time management and organisational skillsFlexible and able to adapt to changing prioritiesTeam-oriented with a willingness to support and share knowledgeAnalytical mindset with a drive for continuous improvementWhy Join Us?
