**Warranty Clerk.**

Reporting to the Service Manager, this role is integral to the administration support of the Service Department.

It is the role of the Warranty Clerk to process all documentation relating to the warranty repairs of vehicles whilst within warranty period. It's imperative that the Warranty Clerk maintain a professional attitude at all times and deal with Warranty issues in a timely manner.

**This includes**:

- Compile and complete warranty claims following guidelines set by the manufacturer
- Keep valid, current and legible records of all claims submitted
- Maintain warranty storage of return parts and return all parts requested
- Submit transport and hidden damage claims
- Complete costing of repair orders and assist in other department costing duties if Manager requires
- Answering the phone promptly with a courteous and understanding manner
- Recording and forwarding phone messages and queries
- General administration duties and housekeeping

You will ideally possess:

- Desire to deliver exceptional customer service
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience within costing in dealerships but not essential
