**About Spec Services**

**Spec Services** is a growing specialist cleaning and services management company. We work across commercial, industrial and environmental sites-including emergency and biohazard clean-ups.

We are currently looking for a **Biohazard Supervisor** to join and lead our Technician Team. If you are safety-focused, hands-on, and ready to lead a team doing important work every day, we want to hear from you.

**About the Role**

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will supervise a small to medium-sized team on a range of biohazard and environmental remediation projects-including mould remediation, water/fire/storm damage, and hazardous material clean-ups. Your key responsibilities include;
- Attending water, mould, fire, and storm damage restoration jobs
- Using drying equipment, dehumidifiers, and moisture meters
- Performing site clean-ups, moisture checks, and minor demolition tasks
- Liaising with customers, insurance reps, and internal teams
- Completing job documentation via phone or mobile apps.
- Participating in a rotating on-call roster for after-hours emergency response
- Maintaining a high level of Health and Safety, ensuring all standards are met

**What You'll Bring**

To be successful, you'll need:

- Evidenced right to work in Australia. Please note that some projects require Australian Citizenship
- Experience in biohazard, remediation, restoration or specialist cleaning (preferred but not essential)
- Previous leadership or team coordination experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging environments
- Must be available on weekends
- Strong understanding of WHS practices and safe work protocols
- Valid White Card, Asbestos Awareness Certificate & Crystalline Silica Exposure Prevention (11084NAT, 10675NAT or 10314NAT) are required for work on construction sites
- CurrentDriver's licence and own reliable transport
- Current Police clearance (or ability to obtain)
- You will be required to complete a pre-employment health questionnaire.
