The Star Gold Coast is where relaxation seamlessly intertwines with thrilling entertainment.As an Event Logistics team member your role will be a 'general duties' position which supports the setup, pack down & equipment movement for Events throughout the property.
Duties would include setting up and packing down tables, bars, drink stations, buffets, stages, various floor coverings, walls, curtains, partitions and retractable seating.This is a fantastic opportunity where you will showcase your event logistics expertise throughout our property at The Star Gold Coast.A few of your responsibilities:Interpret and understand Event orders and banquet set up instructionsPhysically move and strategically place Events furniture and equipmentMaintain guest focus in all services, ensuring that delivery is timely, effective and efficientLiase with internal and external stakeholders as requiredWhat are we looking for?
Proven experience in events, logistics and/or hospitalityForklift Licence is required, Traffic Control and Pallet Jack experience (advantageous but not required)Ability to work within a team and communicate efficientlyAn understanding of safe work practices and the ability follow procedures and processesCurrent QLD RSA Statement of AttainmentFlexible availability over a 7 day rosterAbout you:With your exceptional attention to detail, you will take pride in ensuring a professional execution of Events for our valued guests.
