**Female Bus Driving Traineeship Program - WomenCAN Australia**

Have you've always wanted to become a bus driver or are simply looking for a career change.

WomenCAN Australia have a unique and rewarding opportunity just in time before the Christmas holiday period.

Work with a well known bus depot centrally located in Footscray, Victoria.

You will earn a wage while learning on the job with a guaranteed job upon completion

**About the opportunity**:

- A supportive employer in the west is looking to train and recruit 8 female bus drivers
- The successful applicants will receive 8-week paid training and extensive peer support.
- Training is located in Footscray - centrally located to public transport.
- You will receive a qualification in Bus Driving Qualification Medium Rigid (MR)
- You are guaranteed a job when completing the training program successfully.

**You will need**
- Valid working rights to Australia
- A good driving history - a clear driving record - and able to provide evidence statement via Vic Roads.
- A full VicRoads drivers license for a minimum of 12 months to be eligible to join the program.
- Ability to pass a Working with Children Check.
- Ability to pass a police check
- Excellent communication skills verbally and written as successful applicants will need to be able to communicate clearly with passengers
- Women from culturally diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $27.50 - $33.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Rotating roster
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates
