About us:
NLS is NSW's leading provider of Dance Instructors/Teachers for schools, clubs, OSHC, and Councils. We offer positions across Sydney, including Inner West, Lower North Shore, Eastern Suburbs, Upper North Shore, Sutherland Shire, Northern Beaches, Western Sydney, and Blue Mountains. We seek experienced Dance Instructors/Teachers passionate about delivering engaging dance programs to children. All staff must have (or be willing to obtain) a current Working with Children check.
Schedule:
Morning (6.30 AM - 9 AM), in-school (9 AM - 3 PM), and after-school (3 PM - 5 PM) positions are available, with both midweek and weekend options.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience in sports coaching or playing
Paid Working with Children (WWC) Check
Child Protection Training (Preferred)
First Aid + CPR Training (Preferred)
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Coaching
Conducting training sessions
Facilitating competition games (if required)
Being reliable and organized
Additional Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of coaching practices
Ability to handle multiple sporting priorities independently
Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with students, staff, and parents/guardians
Discretion and confidentiality handling
Ability to engage with a diverse community
