Reporting to the Group Financial Controller
- ANZ you will be a key member of the Finance team with responsibility for ensuring timely, accurate, relevant & value-adding accounting & financial information to all Retail stakeholders. This role is pivotal in ensuring that informed business decisions can be made & the assets of the business controlled effectively across the retail business in Australia and New Zealand.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Ensure accuracy of the General Ledger and Profit and Loss accounts for Retail related cost centers.
- Review all the Retail Balance sheet reconciliation from GRBS Retail Accountant and GRBS Retail Banking Officer by due date ensuring accurate retail sales reporting.
- Business partner with cross functions to provide accounting support and guidance. Work closely with FP&A team too, to assist with EG1/Forecast/AOP preparations.
- Prepare Retail Incentive models, accruals and payments. Monitor Retail month end close P&L and Balance Sheet estimates and any other projection or forecast required for the Retail Business.

**Required Experience & Education**:

- Minimum 5 Years accounting experience.
- Demonstrated management exposure, particular over GL enquiry and group reporting / consolidation processes
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- A proven track record of achieving measurable business objectives
- Formal accounting qualifications

**Furthermore, you will possess the following skills & knowledge**:

- Strong understanding of business processes and their linkage with financial planning
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior management
- Excellent analytical, report writing and presentation skills
- Microsoft Office - Excel to advanced level and Word, PowerPoint to intermediate level
- SAP, and TM1 experience is preferred but not essential
