We are committed to sustainability and the Elanco Healthy Purpose to advance the health of animals, people, the planet, and our enterprise.ResponsibilitiesAct as Study Director/Investigator in GxP studies; design protocols and collaborate with global teamsConduct and manage complex field and laboratory studies in livestock and companion animalsEnsure scientific protocols and procedures meet regulatory and ethical requirementsLiaise with external research partners, implement disease models, and support early-stage researchProvide timely and accurate documentation to the Animal Ethics Committee (AEC) and ensure high standards of animal welfareAdhere to GxP, VICH, FDA, OECD, and internal SOPs while promoting continuous process improvementSupport resource planning, knowledge sharing, and peer development within the research teamWhat You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications)Bachelor's Degree in a science-related discipline (veterinary degree preferred but not required)Strong understanding of research/development processes and knowledge of animal health, disease, and parasitologyExcellent scientific writing and communication skills; strong project and time management skillsPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with GxP, VICH GCP, or OECD GLP standardsExperience working in regulated environments (e.g., FDA, APVMA, EMA)Exposure to animal ethics processes and welfare protocolsDemonstrated ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teamsExperience coaching or mentoring peers in a scientific settingAdditional InformationTravel: Occasional travel required for field studies or external collaborationsLocation: Kemps Creek, Western Sydney – on-site roleWork Rights: Must be located in Australia with full working rightsFlexibility: Willingness to work additional or flexible hours when neededLicense: Valid Australian driver's license requiredElanco is an EEO/Affirmative Action Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of age, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, protected veteran status, disability or any other legally protected status.BenefitsCollaborative, values-driven culture that supports growth and purposeAdditional leave benefitsRecognition and reward programsWellbeing support (EAP)Flexible work arrangementDon't meet every single requirement?
