**Rae-Line,** a reputable and fast-growing company within the commercial upholstery and sports padding industry, is currently seeking a Industrial Designer to support growth and development. Based in Kilsyth Melbourne, you will be part of our growing, friendly cross functional development team working closely with the Sales, Marketing and Production.
- Product development and design.
- Ability to generate work instructions.
- Investigation of new development techniques.
- Ensures product quality. Establishes and manages systems for "right first time"
- Ability to research new tools and technology for design and development.
- Quoting/Estimating knowledge
- Experience in SolidWorks
- Proven track record of taking a project from design to manufacturing.
- Understanding and/or experience with common manufacturing methods and ability to interface with internal and external manufacturing organisations.
- Have the ability to learn quickly and think on your feet.
- Positive and professional attitude is essential.
- Must have 'excellent' English communication skills (verbal & written).
- Microsoft Office - Excel (Intermediate level).
- Must be a great team player.
- Ability to occasionally travel.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- High level of integrity and work ethic.
