This is for the Brentwood bay Victoria location.
At Midas, we are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis, and repair utilizing the expertise attained through years of automotive repair experience.
You hold a valid and current Certificate of Qualification in the province of BC.We are looking for automotive technicians that are able to work independently of others, while also being able to work collaboratively at times with peers.
We have a full-service facility and we are looking for automotive technicians to help us create an environment of success
ResponsibilitiesAs a Midas automotive technician, you'll be exposed to and have responsibility for performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs and maintenance, including:Diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systemsTires and tire repairCar heating and air conditioningSteering and suspensionBelts and hosesRadiator and engine cooling systemsBatteries, starting and chargingSteering and suspensionBrake repairVisual safety and courtesy inspectionsQualificationsAbility to repair vehicles independently, while also having experience working well in a team environmentTrack record of high personal productivityKnowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilitiesExperience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines and diagnostic toolsProvincial Certificate of QualificationValid driver's licenseOwn tools/equipment (diagnostic scanner / tools preferred also)Able to service both import and domestic vehiclesWe offer a full benefits package.Compensation: $30 to $34 per hour Join Our Team As one of the largest destinations for automotive services, Midas is dominating the industry in developing career paths and building relationships within the communities they serve.At Midas, we take care of everything tires, brakes, oil so the opportunities to grow and develop expertise with Midas are endless.MIDAS locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees.
