Job Description
As a Staff Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing complex software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and drive architectural decisions to enhance our products and services.
What You'll Do
Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using C# (.NET) and JavaScript/TypeScript (ReactJS)Support and guide the team in planning and prioritizing work within agile sprint cyclesContribute to software architecture and solution design, ensuring robustness and scalabilityCollaborate with cross-functional partners to identify, evaluate, and prioritise technical solutions aligned with business goalsLead and facilitate the development process from initial concept through to successful launchMonitor and ensure the team consistently meets SLOsStay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve our development standards
Qualifications
What You'll Bring:
7+ years of professional software development experience2+ years in a technology-focused leadership roleStrong programming skills in C# (.NET), JavaScript, and TypeScript (ReactJS)Proven expertise in software architecture and solution designHands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices, including continuous integration and deploymentExperience working with Azure Cloud ServicesFamiliarity with event-driven microservice architecturesSolid understanding of agile software development methodologies, such as ScrumExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
Bonus Points If You Have
Experience in fintech or financial software developmentKnowledge of Kubernetes and DockerFamiliarity with Site Reliability Engineering concepts
