PHE Mining is seeking an experienced underground Operator to join our team on a fixed term project contract basis.
This role will be based at a remote mine site in the Northern Territory on a 2 & 1 roster, 12-hour days.
We encourage candidates willing to fly in and fly out (FIFO) of Brisbane, Perth, Darwin or Alice Springs on a direct charter flight to the project site to apply.PHE is an Industrial Electrical Contractor that undertakes large scale projects in regional and remote areas nationally.
The role involves safely transporting, loading and unloading plant and equipment around site to support to our electrical construction teams to prepare for the electrical and instrumentation installation of an underground hard rock mine.If you strive to be an integral part of a team that contributes to building some of the nation's most important projects, then this is the perfect role for you.WHAT WE OFFER:2:1 roster with 12 hour shiftsGreat safety culture
All flights, accommodation + meals providedConnecting commercial flights to charter flight cities with generous travel allowanceABOUT THE ROLE:Work as a plant operator at an underground gold mine in the NTWorking for an electrical contractor with a crew of electricians, operators & TAsOperate a Tilt Tray/HR vehiclesOperate a telehandlerSafely transporting, loading and unloading plant and equipment around site.ABOUT YOU:Previous underground mining experienceExperience operating a telehandlerExperience with HR trucks - tilt tray or similarCommited to maintaining our sfety cultureFlexible attitude to work with all our crewsIs able to pass a full medical and fitness testYou will hold or obtain the followingHR truck licenceHigh-Risk Work Licence – with WP (& CN preferred)Telehandler ticketWhite Construction CardWorking at Heights (current within 18 months)Hold or be able to obtain a National Police CheckABOUT PHE:PHE are a leading service provider to the construction, mining, energy, and infrastructure industries with a comprehensive range of skilled personnel, heavy vehicles, light vehicles, and equipment.
