Geotechnical Engineer
to join our team in the Central West Orana region.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a geotechnical professional to work on a high-profile project, designing and building infrastructure that will help connect wind and solar farms to the grid. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to the project team, ensuring that all aspects of the project are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the engineering department in managing the delivery of works related to geotechnical activities.
Assist in identifying potential design issues and provide possible contingency solutions.
Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
Work closely with civil, structural, and electrical engineers to integrate geotechnical solutions into the overall construction delivery.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A bachelor's degree in geology or engineering geology.
At least 3 years' experience in transmission line infrastructure projects or similar large construction projects.
A strong understanding of construction techniques and methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
