Storeperson/Forklift Driver

Grays currently has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Storeperson/ Forklift Driver to join the motivated, friendly, customer focused and hardworking Warehouse team at Grays in Hamilton. You'll be working to receive, handle, locate and pick goods within a team that is safety focused and committed to working together and looking out for one another.

**In this role you will be responsible for**:

- Ensuring deliveries are received, processed and stored in a safe and correct manner.
- Booking in assets vis iPad or manual entry - ensuring descriptions and photograph are accurately captured.
- Maintaining accurate records and assisting with inventory and quality control.
- Labelling, putting away and transferring stock in line with established processes.
- Performing counts / stock takes as required.
- Operating Manual Handling Equipment, including forklifts.
- Taking a proactive role in ensuring the health and safety of our colleagues and customers.
- Please note that this role does involve some heavy lifting.

**We're looking for someone who has**:

- A positive, team and customer focused attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A willingness to help out with various ad hoc tasks as required.
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work with iPads, cameras, basic stock management system and who has a basic level of Microsoft Office Suite experience.
- A current forklift licence with a minimum of 2 years operational experience
- Experience with industrial stock and in a commercial retail warehouse will be highly valued.
