Our Western Port Manufacturing facility is seeking Team Members (Process Operators) to join our Operations teams at Hastings.
As part of the broader Australian Steel Products Portfolio, we have five major manufacturing departments at Western Port operating 24/7, 365 days a year, delivering a variety of products, innovative solutions, and services to export and domestic customers.To support these operations, we're creating a 'Talent Community' for future Process Operators.

Process Operators undertake essential processing work with a strong safety focus, attention to detail, and play a key role in producing high-quality steel products, ensuring timely delivery.Operations work can include:Supporting and promoting a safe working environmentOperating machinery to process and manufacture productsOperating equipment such as forklifts and cranesPacking, strapping, and monitoring products to ensure quality controlSome roles may involve lifting, manual handling, and exposure to heat, heights, and noise.
We ensure all employees are supported with proper training, guidance, and equipment to perform tasks safely.Our Process Operators work a 12-hour shift pattern, including day and night shifts.
Operations run 24/7 or 24/5 depending on the department.
Some positions may require weekend, overtime, and holiday availability.Our online Information Night will provide more details about roles and shift options.More About YouNo prior operations or manufacturing experience is necessary.
