This is a 3 month fixed term, part-time (0.8FTE) position commencing Term 4, 2025.

The Role
As a valued member of our team, you will be a conscientious, flexible, and innovative educator committed to the holistic development of every student.
You will actively engage in the school and the wider community, implement our High Impact Teaching practices, and demonstrate a commitment to evidence-based decision-making and differentiation.
The successful applicant should be a highly skilled and motivated educator with exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Ideally, you will demonstrate a strong commitment to Explicit Direct Instruction and have expertise in collaboratively planning curriculum, including scope, sequencing, and lesson design.
You should exhibit strong teaching and classroom management abilities, underpinned by effective classroom management strategies.
Proficiency in data analysis and evidence-based planning to enhance literacy and numeracy outcomes is highly regarded.
The role requires confidence in the use of ICT in the classroom and a commitment to reflective practice based on observations, student feedback, and analysis of student performance data.
We seek motivated applicants with a passion for teaching Generalist subjects at the secondary level, with a solid understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum.
In this role, you should deliver a curriculum tailored to diverse student needs, fostering an environment where every student can reach their full potential.
Strong behaviour support capabilities and a commitment to Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and trauma-informed, culturally aware practices are vital.

Mobility Arrangements
Eligible permanent teachers with substantive positions in a North/South Education Region or South West Education Region may undertake a 3-year mobility appointment with a right of return.

Eligibility
To work with us, you must:
Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with work rights for the term of the appointment.

Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number before you start.
