We often seek to employ people with uplifting and warm personalities to work across our established aged care homes in Victoria. **Hospitality** (Food Services and Cooking) positions require people that are reliable, can work well in a team and brighten the day of older people.

**Hospitality **teams comprise of Hospitality Assistants (Food Service Assistants), Cooks and Head Chefs. These roles continue to ensure residents enjoy pleasurable dining experiences and are served nutritious home cooked meals. Often the dining experience is the most important part of someones day and your bright smile, warm personality and ability to chat to older people is very important.

**Hospitality Assistants (Food Service Assistants)** report to the Chef/Cook, and are required to assist with the preparation, cooking and serving of meals to residents. It is really important that the dining rooms are well kept, tables are neatly presented and you are creative minded, perhaps you will play music during dinner or pick some flowers from the garden to place in vases on the tables. Most importantly you will be able to relate to older people particularly those living with dementia, an illness or disability.

**NDIS Worker Screening Check (includes Australian Federal Police Check)**
Royal Freemasons is a NDIS approved provider. As part of the NDIS scheme, employees, contractors, labour hire and volunteers must have a completed NDIS check. This is part of compliance and needs to be completed prior to commencement as well as an **International Police Check** for those that have lived overseas for 12 months or more within the last 10 years.

**Mandatory Vaccines **All aged care workers must be vaccinated against Covid-19 and encouraged to receive the Flu-Vaccine, all successful applicants will be required to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination prior to commencement.
