Lawyer / Associate Construction / Infrastructure

Merlehan Group is currently recruiting for a Lawyer / Associate with 1-3 years PAE to join its growing provision of legal services to construction project owners and large contractors throughout Australia, located at its Brisbane office.
Merlehan Group is a specialist law and business advisory firm in Australia, founded by a former top tier law firm partner, with particular speciality in the legal and commercial support to major construction and infrastructure projects throughout Australia. Our client base includes numerous ASX20 project owners and large contractors with experience in a diverse range of developments.
**Key Responsibilities**
In this role, you will provide services including but not limited to:
- Performing detailed and high quality research;
- Drafting clear, concise and professional correspondence and documentation;
- Attending client meetings with senior colleagues;
- Collaborating with colleagues to identify and address complex legal issues; and
- Assisting with business development initiatives.
This role will involve a combination of front-end advisory and contract drafting, along with back-end dispute resolution work.
This role would suit someone with 1-3 years PAE with prior experience or a keen interest in construction / infrastructure law.
