_We are a Melbourne based roofing company specialising in installing, repairing, maintaining and restoring slate roofs. We focus on delivering a high-quality service and creating a supportive workplace._

**MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Learn how to repair, install and restore slate roofs to a high quality and standard
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures
- Communicate and liaise materials / resources for job sites
- Other tasks as directed
- Attend TAFE to acquire a certificate III in Roof Tiling

**SKILLS REQUIRED**
- Strong verbal communication skills to express ideas, needs, concerns and questions; and follow instructions.
- Self awareness about your learning style
- Willingness to learn and ask for help
- Able to develop positive relationships with others, including colleagues and clients
- Able to professionally and respectfully respond to / manage conflict or challengesAble to problem solve challenges
- Has a proactive, forward thinking and positive mindset

**EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS Experience / Qualifications**:

- Other trade based experience is strongly welcomed
- White Card (essential)
- Working from Heights (essential)
- Working with Childrens Check (essential)
- National Police Check (essential)
- Drivers license (probationary or full)

**Salary**: $45,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Melbourne South Eastern Suburbs VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
