Additional Information:
- These roles are Permanent Part-time, 30hrs/fortnight (Bedrooms Co-worker).
- The shift times required to work will be spread between 8:00am to 9:30pm, Monday - Sunday.
- Thursday & Friday night availability is required, and 3/4 weekend availability is required every month.
**About this work area** As a Sales Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Engaging and assist customers in understanding their needs and providing your knowledge on IKEA products and services to support their purchasing decisions.
- Actively participating in selling products with a positive attitude and contribute to business goals and growth.
- Being an expert and passionate about the IKEA product range; and actively learning about their features and benefits.
- Responsible for ensuring that the sales area is stocked, presentable, attractively merchandised and correctly priced.
- Assembling our products according to proper building and enclosed instructions to ensure complete functionality.
- Building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
As a Sales Co-worker you are or have:
- Passionate about home furnishings and appreciator of quality focusing on maintaining a high level of product knowledge and sharing the IKEA product range with customers.
- Experience in working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing your tasks effectively to meet deadlines and priorities.
- A strong customer-focused mindset, always striving to deliver a memorable shopping experience.
- A 'Togetherness' mindset with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment and manage your own tasks.
- Clear and concise communication skills, a keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficient computer skills and an ability to learn about all technical aspects of the IKEA IT systems and tools.
- A safe mindset and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling including repetitive movements and lifting.
