**Black Rubber Archerfield** is looking to increase their existing tyre retread team by opening up the role to individuals looking to learn a new skill or get their foot in the tyre and wheel industry. We are looking for people with a desire to learn, focus on safety and physically fit. No experience is required as on the job training will be provided.

Black Rubber is a leading tyre supply and service organisation focused on the provision of efficient & safe tyre management services specifically for the transport, industrial, mining & resource industries as well as catering for the passenger car market.

We are a member of the National Tyre & Wheel Group (NTAW), Australasia's largest tyre, wheel, and accessory wholesaler.

**Roles/responsibilities**

Operation of one of the manufacturing stations as follows:

- Inspection Station - Inspecting incoming tyres to assess their capability to retread and/or inspecting finished tyres to ensure they meet minimum quality requirements
- Buffing Station - Operation of the semi-automated buffing machine to buff the tyre to required dimensions in preparation for retreading
- Skiving Station - Using air tools to remove existing damage to prepare the area for filling or further repair

**Skills & Experience**
- Good communication skills.
- Valid Driver's License.
- A strong focus on safety & following procedures.
