Are you a foodie? Enjoy being somewhat creative? Well, if you answered yes to both those questions, you have pretty much passed the test to join the Design Team How easy was that?
Currently we are looking to hire our first Design Operations Consultant to join our lovely design team which compromises of 20 designers from backgrounds in motion, UX/UI, product, graphic and design systems. Our Design Leads are passionate about creating an environment that ensures you feel supported. This way, when you come to work, you can focus on doing what you do best without the stress
**Your role with us**:
As our Design Operations Consultant you will either have a background in Scrum/BA or similar and have worked closely with designers across all areas, OR you were a designer who is now currently focusing on operation based functions.
Your main focus for once you join us will be helping manage design backlog by making JIRA tickets, facilitate agile meetings such as standups, sprint planning and retrospectives. You will help identify room for improvements to avoid bottlenecks and improve design operations and strategies. You will also facilitate meetings with various stakeholders who require design elements, you will collect information to then be implemented into JIRA before being assigned to designated designers.
You will also help with the facilitation of our short term design roadmap, before being responsible to later then create the roadmap for the next 3 - 12 months.
You will also be an excellent communicator, and great at public speaking as you do not shy away to present in front of a group. Given that you will be a facilitator on behalf of the designers, having strong communication skills is a skill you will need to have.
As mentioned previously, you will have plenty of support from the Chief Product Officer, as well as the Design Lead and other primary advocates across design in not only your daily proficiencies, but also, with your career growth.
You will report directly to the Head of Product Design and have the opportunity to move into a DesOps Lead or Manager further down the line.
