Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Domain Group Full time

This is a great opportunity for journalists seeking to put their storytelling skills to excellent use whilst broadening their skill set beyond the daily news cycle. For our News & Insights Content Specialist, we are looking for a strong writer with experience as a reporter to join our team in delivering exceptional property-driven content to our audience. Reporting to the News & Insights Content Manager, you will work with the wider Content team located in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, bringing to life Domain's data content strategy by producing engaging and insightful content that aims to boost our readers' confidence in making their property decisions. You will identify the topics and issues that impact Australians on their property journey; from the latest in house price rises, to the link between property prices and interest rates, to any shifts in the market that can be identified through data and brought to life in editorial-style content that addresses them. You need to be comfortable working with data sets and research reports and able to write compelling content with confidence and authority.

**Who are you?**
- Support the implementation of the News and Insights strategy, by researching, interviewing contacts, writing articles and producing them with headlines, captions and image sourcing across these two categories.
- An avid consumer of property news and content, you will have your finger on the pulse of the latest news and trends relating to property, and proactively ideate and pitch content ideas to drive audience engagement.
- Manage daily syndication and production of content from our partners including making any necessary formatting tweaks.
- Ensure content follows best practice production standards (inclusion of widgets, tags etc) and drives SEO.
- Actively monitor and report on News & Insights content performance, using learnings to inform future content production.
- Partner closely with the Domain Research and Comms teams to extend key research reports across Content, ensuring they are informed of performance metrics and audience insights
- Consider commercialisation opportunities of content across News & Insights and work collaboratively with Brand Partnership teams to fulfil revenue opportunities.

**Why join us?**

We're the right size business for you to make a real impact and see real career progression, with a workplace culture where you can be you. Perks of the role include:

- Flexibility tailored to you - so if you've recently made a sea change, work adjusted hours or like the idea of hybrid working, it'll be perfect;
- First-rate parental leave and wellbeing policies;
- Discounts on things like _Domain Home Loans_;
- Access to _Perkbox_, giving you discounts across healthcare, entertainment, food, utilities and more
- Continuous opportunities to leap, learn and grow.

We don't just talk, we do. Every day we solve property problems for Australians and beyond. We encourage our people to see the possibilities, and turn them into realities. That's why we want you.

**Who are we?**

We shine a light on all things property. Our business aims to simplify the property journey for all involved; motivated by expertise and our exclusive data.

Changing the way people engage with property requires a team of diverse thinkers.
