We are exciting to announce a new opportunity for a Technical Specialist to join our Nominal Insurer (NSW Workers Compensation) function.
Reporting to the Eligibility Manager, you will provide specialist coaching and technical support across the calculation and determination of Pre-Injury Average Weekly Earnings (PIAWE).
Whether you are an existing PIAWE Specialist or a Senior Case Manager with strong coaching ability and technical expertise in PIAWE, we would love to hear from you
How you'll make an impact Advise and provide technical support in the calculation and determination of wage and compensation decisions; Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including case management and legal advisory personnel, legal practitioners, regulatory bodies etc around case management strategy and litigation matters; Coach and mentor case management personnel, and collaborate with our additional Mental Health, Injury Management and broader Technical Support teams; Participate in key business projects and initiatives.
About you Experience in technical or case management roles within a workers compensation setting, with demonstrated experience in the calculation of wages or PIAWE.
Other accounting or payroll disciplines may also be considered; Exceptional time management and organisational skills; Excellent attention to detail; Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of organisation; A strategic mindset and approach to work; A strong sense of team and collaboration; A resilient attitude.
