( a Graduate Engineer at Nova Systems you will be provided with the experience, supervision, mentoring and training necessary to make a meaningful contribution to Nova and determine your own pathway.
Whether it be working on the Next Generation Armoured Fighting Vehicles in the Maritime and Land Stream, or completing Safety Assurance work for the Triton Remotely Piloted Aircraft System in the Air, Information & Space Stream, Nova Systems provides an award-winning Graduate Program to grow the skills of our staff and solve complex challenges in Defence and Essential ServicesWhat you'll learnIn this virtual experience, you will be working on a Capability Development project for a hypothetical submarine program.
There are 3 modules in total that will allow you to work through the concept stage of the development cycle.
As the graduate engineer on the project, your tasks will include:Examining emails and documents to familiarise yourself with the projectDetermining who is involved and what their roles and needs areDevelop a set of realistic operational scenarios for the capabilityDevelop a set of requirements for the capabilityProduce a functional breakdown structureThese tasks will include drawing diagrams, charts, tables and more.
