We are seeking an experienced Stock Hand to work within the Acland Pastoral Company a mixed farming, grazing and land management enterprise located at Acland, near Oakey in QLD. Acland Pastoral Company (APC), established in 2006, manages approximately 10,000 hectares of land, including 1,400 hectares of dry land cropping and 200 hectares of irrigated cropping. Over 1,200 breeders provide weaners for our cattle backgrounding operation.

**About the role**:
You will support the APC Agriculture Manager and Acland Pastoral Team Lead in all agricultural activities but with a particular focus on livestock management.

You will be responsible for:

- Cattle handling in a safe and humane manner
- Work safely in accordance with APC's WHS Management Plan
- Record keeping with a strong emphasis on Biosecurity compliance
- Operate farming machinery and carry out regular maintenance
- Assist with paddock fallow, planting, and cultivation processes
- Maintain accurate records
- Operate and maintain irrigation equipment

**What you'll bring**:
You're passionate about agriculture, have demonstrated relationship skills within a farming community.
- Practical experience in livestock handling and farm machinery operation
- A history of being self motivated and reliable team player
- Working knowledge of Agriworld and Agriweb would be ideal
- A current driver's licence (HR licence would be advantageous)
