**Description**:
**The Role**:
Cater Care seeks to appoint a Catering Assistant at one of our key aged care residences in North Sydney
**Roster**:
Role 1 - 21.5 hrs / week
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - 1400 - 1930
Sunday - 0700 - 1400
Role - 2 - 24hrs/week
Monday and Tuesday 1500 - 1930
Wednesday 1600 - 1930
Thursday 0700 - 1400
Friday 1400 - 1930
**What This Role Involves**:
Assisting with food preparation
Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude
Prepare and present texture modified foods
**Skills and Experiences**:
Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
