We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Event Staff to assist with a series of events. As Event Staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of various activities and providing exceptional customer service to event attendees.

**Tasks**:

- **Bumping in and out of the event**: Ensure smooth setup and teardown of event materials and equipment.
- **Setting up flags**: Position flags at designated areas to mark the event space.
- **Laying turf**: Arrange turf for designated activities and areas.
- **Engaging with customers**: Interact with participants, play games, and ensure an enjoyable experience.
- **Giving away prizes**: Distribute prizes to participants as per event guidelines.
- **Additional tasks**: Assist with any other tasks as required by the client to ensure a successful event.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet event attendees in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide information about the event schedule, locations, and activities to attendees.
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, including but not limited to arranging signage, setting up booths, and organizing event materials.
- Monitor event areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.
- Direct attendees to different areas of the event venue as needed.
- Assist with crowd control and manage lines or queues as necessary.
- Handle inquiries and address any issues or concerns raised by attendees promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with other event staff and coordinators to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Attend a 45-minute briefing session online prior to the event dates to familiarize yourself with event details and expectations.
- Participate in an in-person briefing session on the day of each event for additional instructions and guidance.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual with a professional demeanor.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Prior experience in customer service or event coordination is preferred but not required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a WWCC.

**Compensation**:

- Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience.
- Opportunities for future event staffing roles based on performance.

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Pay**: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour

**Job Types**: Subcontract, Casual, Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
