As a Machine Learning / GenAI Resident Solutions Architect (RSA) in our Professional Services team, you will work with clients on short to medium-term customer engagements focused on their ML & AI challenges using the Databricks Data Intelligent platform.
Your role involves providing data science and cloud technology projects, integrating with client systems, training, and other technical tasks to maximize the value of their data.
RSAs are billable and are expected to complete projects according to specifications while delivering excellent customer service.
The impact you will have :
You will work on impactful data science and machine learning use cases, including building solution architecture, MLOps frameworks, MVPs, and production-grade applications.
Guide strategic customers in implementing transformational data science and Generative AI projects, including end-to-end design, build, and deployment of industry-leading AI applications.
Consult on ML architecture and design; bootstrap or implement strategic customer projects to facilitate understanding, evaluation, and adoption of Databricks solutions.
Provide escalated support for customer operational issues.
Collaborate with the Databricks technical team, Project Manager, Architect, and Customer team to ensure delivery meets customer needs.
Work with Engineering and Customer Support to provide product feedback and guide rapid resolution of product and support issues.
What we look for :
Experience in customer-facing post-sales, technical architecture, or consulting roles related to ML engineering or data science.
For ML Engineers: Experience building and maintaining production cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) supporting ML applications.
For Data Scientists: Experience with advanced ML techniques and Generative AI, including vector databases, fine-tuning LLMs, and deployment tools like HuggingFace, Langchain, and OpenAI.
Proficiency in coding with Python or Scala.
Experience with technical project delivery, managing scope and timelines.
Strong documentation and whiteboarding skills.
Experience working with clients and managing conflicts.
Ability to deploy and integrate Databricks-based solutions.
Willingness to travel 20-30% of the time.
Nice to have: Databricks Certification.
