We are looking for an Assistant Branch Manager (Banking 2IC) to join our Cronulla Branch. This is an ideal role for a developing banking or retail professional ready to take the next step in their career, focusing on leadership, operations, compliance and lending.

Reporting to the Branch Manager and an integral part of a small and dynamic team, the key focus areas of the role include:

- Helping customers and having conversations with them face to face and over the phone regarding their banking and insurance needs
- Exploring new opportunities to find the right financial solutions that may improve their position
- Assisting in the completion and management of the branches daily operational and compliance requirements
- Assisting with management, coaching and staff development activities
- Contributing to product and service initiatives/activities for the team and region
- Have experience/skills working in either a banking or retail/customer service environment with a proven track record of positive performance and aptitude for learning, technology and business operations
- Genuinely demonstrate a passion for providing great service, for creating positive customer experiences and people interactions with patience and professionalism
- Are committed to helping customers in their day to day banking requirements and to achieve their financial goals and dreams
- Have supervisory/team leader experience and want to pursue further development
- Thrive in a team environment and show initiative, care and attention to detail in your work
- Have had exposure to consumer lending (but not essential).
