**Learn the following duties and more**:

- Picking and packing orders for dispatch
- Learning about the different types of steel products
- Stock rotation and allocation
- Reading detailed drawings to fabricate steel
- Using machines, workshop equipment and tools
- General housekeeping and following WHS procedures at all time
- Customer service
- Identifying problems and proposing solutions in fabrication
- Manual handling involved in cutting steel
- Learn to use a measuring tool proficiently. Must be millimeter perfect

The role includes, following the training you will get from a qualified tradesman, learning how to keep the workshop safe and hazard-free at all times. Assist tradesmen and learning how to fabricate and handle steel, and ad-hoc duties around the workshop.

**Desirable**
- Current Australian driver's license or reliable transport
- Flexibility and available for immediate start

**Work Eligibility**:

- Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (e.g. citizen, permanent resident) (required)

COVID-19 Precaution(s):

- Social distancing guidelines in place
- Sanitising, disinfecting or cleaning procedures in place

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: From $23.23 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
