**Lindsay Transport is currently seeking experienced Forklift Drivers to join the team based in Brisbane. The position will be offered on a full-time basis with a day shift roster available.**

With over 65 years' experience, The Lindsay Group, proudly operates an extensive national logistics network across various locations covering regional communities. Lindsay Transport is the largest transporter of fresh produce in Australia, specialising in temperature sensitive, time-slotted freight into Central Markets and major Grocery Distribution Centres to help our customers best meet their national supply chain needs.

Today we employ over 1500 exceptional individuals, with roughly 35% based in Regional Australia, and together we service over 1.5 million tonnes of temperature-controlled freight every year across the country.

**About the role**:
Forklift Drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a forklift for the purposes of loading and unloading vehicles and moving freight to and from storage areas. They must ensure that trucks are loaded in accordance with the load sheet, all stabilisation equipment is used as required and fridge motor temperatures are set correctly and checked prior to vehicle departure.

**About you**:

- Be willing to work either day or afternoon shift
- Have a valid forklift licence and experience in this class
- Have warehouse and pick, packing and stocktaking experience
- Have experience loading and unloading trucks
- Have refrigeration experience (preferred)
- Be reliable and punctual with good communication skills
- Be able to adhere to transport documentation

To be successful for this role applicants must:

- Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test
- Have good attention to detail

Mon - Fri 9am start (Dry)

Tues to Sat 6am starts (Chiller)

Tues to Sat (Mon-Fri 7am start, Sat 6am start) (Chiller)
