Are you an experienced Administrator looking for your next role in Claims and Injury Support? Look no further, at Bis, we have a permanent full-time role available for you. This WCIS Administrator role is based at our North Sydney office.
The Administrator is responsible for providing timely and efficient administrative support to the WCIS team in areas of claims and injury management, return to work and performance of regulatory functions in accordance with Bis' workers compensation insurance arrangements.
The role ensures support is provided to the team to achieve outcomes for the business in line with the legislative framework, business objectives and key performance indicators.
**Responsibilites**:
- Demonstrate values and behaviours consistent with Bis' Leadership and Behavioural Framework.
- Always comply with Bis' _Employee Performance and Behaviour Code_, carry out all duties in accordance with Bis' policies, procedures and work instructions and WHSE legislation.
- Building relationships, collaboration and supporting key internal and external stakeholders.
- Providing administration support to the team
- Initial triage and claim registration
- Data entry which meets internal and external reporting requirements including e.g. coding of injuries using TOOCS
- Drafting of letters / documents
- Processing of supplier request form
- Raise and receipt purchase orders
- Data entry invoices and payroll
- Following up medical and rehabilitation information
- Management of department inbox - Outlook
- Preparing and distributing meeting minutes
- Support weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
- Support insurance renewals
- Review and update policies, standards and procedures
**Previous experience**:
- Experience in claims management
- Ideally experience in Commonwealth self-insurance environment
- Basic knowledge of workers compensation database systems
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Relevant industry experience highly desirable
