About The Role
We're looking for a compassionate and skilled Support Worker to join our Accommodation Services team. You'll assist clients with high support needs, including those using wheelchairs and requiring medical support, helping them live with dignity and independence.
The role involves personal care, daily living support, and promoting autonomy within shared living environments.

Duties
Provide personal care and daily living supportAssist with manual handling and use of aidsSupport clients with complex needs and medical requirementsFoster independence and inclusion in shared living environmentsBuild positive relationships with clients and familiesManage challenging situations with empathy and professionalism
Essential
Skills and Experience:
Experience supporting high-needs disability clientsConfidence in manual handling and use of aidsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsFlexibility for varied shifts and rostered workBasic Microsoft Office skills (Word & Outlook)Current Driver's Licence, Working With Children Check, NSW NDIS Worker Screening Check, and National Police Check
Desirable
Certificate III or IV in Disability Support (or equivalent)Knowledge of NDIA processes
