Early Childhood Teacher (Temporary Contract) — Fairfield City Council

Responsibilities / Role Expectations
Work with children aged 0-5 years to meet individual programming needs as part of a dynamic team.
Engage in high-quality pedagogical programming integrating the Early Years Learning Framework, the Education and Care Services National Regulations, and the National Quality Standards.
Participate in decision-making and problem solving; use a variety of interpersonal skills within multiple teams.
Contribute to a culture of excellence, leadership and innovation.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Teaching or Education (Early Childhood) as approved by ACECQA or working towards.
Current First Aid Certificate, Asthma Certificate, Anaphylaxis Certificate and Working with Children Check, as approved by ACECQA.
Must be an Accredited Teacher and actively working towards the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers for Provisional Teachers. Conditional Teachers are welcomed and supported.
Must meet the minimum prescribed requirements of a responsible person as per the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
Demonstrated ability to participate in decision-making and problem solving; strong interpersonal skills in multiple teams.

Maternity leave (up to 12 months), full-time, 35 hours per week
Grade 4, salary range between $75,390 p.a. and $83,213 p.a., plus superannuation
