What does the job look like?

As the Operations Supervisor, you'll oversee the day shift operations, ensuring smooth warehousing and transport processes while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Reporting to the Distribution Centre Manager, you'll take charge of planning, team leadership, and driving continuous improvement across the site. This role will be based at our Bentley location. Key Areas:

- Managing and motivating warehouse staff and drivers to achieve operational excellence.
- Identifying and delivering process improvements to boost productivity and service quality.
- Supporting financial reporting and cost management to enhance site profitability.
- Building strong relationships with internal teams and customers to ensure collaboration and success.
- Developing a high performing team through effective leadership and development of staff.
- Actively promoting a safe and sustainable workplace in line with Linfox's vision and values.

Are you the one?

This is a pivotal role requiring a manager with experience supporting and developing warehousing teams. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have experience providing effective commercial and operational leadership within a complex supply chain environment. You can demonstrate:

- Previous experience as a Supervisor or Leader in a warehouse/logistics environment
- Excellent stakeholder engagement with an ability to build strong relationships across all levels
- Ability to confidently lead, drive outcomes and develop diverse high-performance teams
- Understanding of financial drivers, cost control and operational budgeting
- Process driven, analytical and methodical with a passion to drive continuous improvement
